Hazara institute of Cardiology

The first step in this regard is the establishment of Hazara Institute of Cardiology (HIC). HIC will be an organization that will provide world class cardiology facilities initially for the Northern Regions. Because from Gilgit to Hasan Abdal, there is not a single institution that has machinery and facilities for complete diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases. The major goals of HIC are twofold. The first target is the awareness campaign on how we can significantly reduce heart diseases by considering our diet and daily activities and there are many diseases that are caused only due to dietary indifference. They can be completed eliminated. The second goal of HIC is to provide all the necessary facilities for treatment of heart disease inspite of all the precautions and arrange the latest machinery and provide the best specialists. Establishment of a medical college for doctors and a nursing college for paramedics in HIC is also included in the goals. It will be the first institute to treat heart diseases free of cost with world class machinery and arrangements.

Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) & Mohtarama Fatima Memorial Trust Hospital

Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust’s second step is to establish a 20-bedded hospital equipped with all facilities in the native village of Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) which will be named Ms. Fatima Memorial Welfare Hospital. This project will benefit approx 4 union councils. The standard of treatment in this Hospital will be at par with international standards. It ranges from basic health facilities to advanced and excellent medical treatment in situations where people do not have the power to get these facilities due to financial constraints. Initially, 20 beds hospital will be established and later on, the project will be expanded throughout the country. It will be extended to all backward areas. In Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust’s third goal is to help people with health issues in other parts of the country through its regional office who either do not understand their problems or do not understand the solutions to these problems, in both cases, by teaching such people how to identify the problems through awareness campaigns and It is to tell how to identify their health problems and possible solution to their problems. Help will be given to the deserving people, specially widows and orphans will be given priority. In present conditions we can avoid about 70% of diseases just by our clean balanced diet and positive lifestyle. But due to lack of awareness, we do not even think about this solution and adopt every harmful health habits. Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust (Registered) wants revolutionary changes in the health sector through its awareness campaign instead of this less scientific and outdated methods
