Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan, son of Mir Akbar Khan, belongs to the Awan community and the Awan community has given many famous sons to the land of Hazara. Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan is one of them whose practical life is an example of hard work and social welfare. Early Life Conditions: Mr. Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan was born on 15-06-1964 in Machh, Balochistan. His father joined the Police Department in his early youth. He spent most of his career in Machh Jail and Sibbi Jail. In the eleventh year of his service, he resigned from the Jail Police due to his father’s illness and started looking after his father. However, unfortunately his father could not revive from the illness and died. A year after his father’s death, he joined the Sindh Police and after working for 28 years in various police stations and the State Bank of Pakistan, he got retirement in 2000. He is a practical Muslim who fulfills his religious obligations and presently resides in Karachi. In 1964, when he was posted in Machh Jail, Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan was born during that time. Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan received his early education at Government Primary School, Thesi and Gohra. He got his middle education from Government High School Mohri Badbahan and secured first position in his school. Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan belonged to a poor family and did not have the resources to continue his education. Due to these circumstances, Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan’s maternal uncle who was posted as a lab tech in the Army Medical Corps at CMH Bahawalpur invited Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan to Bahawalpur for further education where he got admission in Cantt High School Fauji Basti Bahawalpur. After passing the 9th standard, since the late uncle Shahzaman was posted to CMH Quetta, he passed the matriculation exam from Central High School, Gaint Road, Quetta. After passing the matriculation exam, Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan went to his father in Karachi where he passed his FSc Pre-Medical Group from Government College Nazimabad. He Couldn’t get admission in MBBS due to not appearing on merit. Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan, who was passionate about becoming a doctor, completed a four-year degree in MSc Microbiology from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) and joined the institution as a Microbiologist in 1983. In January 1984, he was selected for Central Hospital, Al Baida, Libiya and joined the job. It is very important to mention here that Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan did not have the money for the ticket to go to Libya, so he brought his mother’s gold ornaments to the famous goldsmith, Khawaj Muhammad Khan of Abbottabad and requested him to take the gold and pay Rs. 25000 in return. However, Mr Khawaj Muhammad Khan generously returned the jewels and gave him Rs. 25000 as a loan. Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan still remember the good deed of late Khawaj Muhammad Khan and prays for him. After spending three years in Libya, he returned home and started working at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences Islamabad (PIMS). In November 1988, he was selected as microbiologist in the Department of Health and Services, Government of Dubai. During this time, he performed his services in Central Hospital Umm Al Quwain New Ruwi Al Rashid Hospital Dubai and various hospitals. While serving at PIMS, he passed his M.Phil examination and also obtained his Ph.D in Microbiology from Islamia University of Bahawalpur in 1990 and officially started to write Dr. before his name. At the end of 1995, he decided to return home from Dubai and joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. He participated in the election from PF37 Abbottabad on the ticket of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, which was the biggest mistake of life according to him. Therefore, on the advice of his mother, he left politics and dedicated his life to the social services. The purpose of Dr Mohammad Nazir Awan’s life is to obtain the blessings of Allah by serving humanity. He faced many challenges, but he did not lose heart and continued to do good deeds. His mission of life is services to people even if he has to walk on thorns. On Thursday, November 26, 2015, my 38-year-old brother Muhammad Zaheer Awan has been (Shaheed) so, I am engaged in my mission of serving the people by setting up a welfare trust named after my late brother Muhammad Zaheer Awan Shaheed, which is duly registered and has an office in Shah tower Mandian Mansehra Roads, Abbottabad. Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust presents a mega project named Hazara Institute of Cardiology. Which will be equipped with the facility of 500 beds and all heart diseases will be fully treated in it. Another project of Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust which will be a gift from me to my area is the Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) and Ms. Fatima Memorial Hospiatl in Thessi.

Introduction of Trust:

Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust (Registered) was named after the younger brother of Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan, Muhammad Zaheer Awan Shaheed, who was martyred by the abductors at a very young age in 2015. His heart remained very embittered when he saw the miserable condition of people. He always used to help the helpless and the needy according to his ability. After his martyrdom, his elder brother Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan shouldered the responsibilities who made systematic efforts to carry all the Welfare work through a trust and finally in 2019 the establishment of Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust (Registered) came into effect. Another aspect that worked behind the establishment of this trust was simply to serve God’s people, for the sake of the Lord, for the soul of Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) and for the needs of the helpless and needy people in the difficult situation of the country. After doing some charity work for the first two years, Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan realized that as long as we do not register our trust, the problems will not end. Consequently in the beginning of 2021, Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) trust was registered under Trust Act 2020 by Ministry of Industries and Commerce KPK Peshawar. Before the establishment of Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust, a few different efforts are mentioned below which were done by Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan and his younger brother Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) for the welfare and well-being of the people by utilizing their own resources without taking any donation from anyone: Infrastructure (1) A 16 km long road was built from Bodla to Thesi via Mir Bala, which is connected to UC Nara, UC Majuhan Bodla, Sandiki, Chak Hal, Bandi, Damka, Bagla, Nari Mira Bala, Balko, Danna and Thesi from which more than 3000 families of four villages are benefited. The cost of this development project was about Rs. 14,50,000 at that time. This project was inaugurated by the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Honorable Mr. Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi Sahib. (2) The first Girls Model School was built for the education of girls in Mera Bala Thesi Havelian, Abbottabad, a village comprising 4 kanals. 800 families are being facilitated and educate their children in this school project. Project cost amount Rs. 750000. The project duration was 1 May 1998 to 13 August 1998. The school was handed over to the Abbottabad Education Department for further improvement. (3). Construction of 3 KM link Road from Thesi to Balkho from which more than 1200 families are benefiting. The cost of this road project was Rs. 2,50,000. The project completion period was 1st June 1998 to 2nd July 1998. Later, the said Road was handed over to District Council Abbottabad for permanent care. (4). A 3 km long link road has been constructed from UC Lagriyal to Dehri Rakhala in Tehsil Haveliyan, District Abbottabad. The cost of this road project was Rs 350,000. The duration for completion of the project was from 1st September 1998 to 31st October 1998 which was later handed over to District Council Abbottabad for permanent maintenance. (5) Rs. 22,00,000 was distributed to various needy families during Covid-19. Apart from this, there are many works whose details are shortened due to the length of the article. Their details will come in the next pages, Insha Allah.

Registration of Trust

Before 2020, the registration of trusts in Pakistan was under the Registration Act 1961. Due to the deteriorating economic and political situation of the country and the increasing rate of terrorism and crime, there was a need for improvement in many terms, realizing the need of the hour. In 2020, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government passed a new law with further improvements and amendments to this act, which was named the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Trust Act, 2020. After 2020, it has been made mandatory for all trusts and NGOs to re-register their trusts as per the new rules. Since the registration of Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust was done before the above mentioned law came into effect, the Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust was re registered, the registration copy of which is enclosed herewith. And then regular annual renewal is also done.

GOALS

Our beloved country Pakistan was established on the basis of the belief of our fundamental word (LAILAHA ILLALAHO MUHAMMAD RASOOLULLAH) so that the Islamic Shari’ah which is a symbol of peace and tranquility in the world can be implemented and Muslims can openly live in their homeland. To be able to freely call the name of Allah Ta’ala and worship. But unfortunately, this is not the case. The ruling class is tired of the religion of Islam and those responsible for the publication and enforcement of the religion of Islam are oblivious to their responsibilities, due to which the laws of Sharia could not be implemented in this country of Pakistan till date and peace could not be established. In such a situation, when the government of the time is oblivious to its responsibilities and the followers of Islam are busy in their struggle for supremacy, then in the country of Pakistan, the fleet of God’s creations according to their own standards is a few wealthy people with heartache. has been raised. Who are using their wealth, time and abilities just for the sake of the Lord of the Worlds. All this is possible only with the grace of Allah, otherwise no one can do anything on their own. One of them is Dr. Muhammad Nazir Awan, who is dedicated to the spirit of serving the people more than his chessboard. He has decided to do all the welfare work through the platform of Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust (Registered) named after his younger brother Muhammad Zaheer Awan Shaheed and is busy in Jihad. The organization Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust is working on the following goals and will continue to work vigorously on these goals in the future.
