A child needs parents for all his needs. If he is deprived of the support of his parents, then there is hardly anyone more helpless than him. Being an orphan is not a man’s fault, but it is God’s will who does what He wills. A parent’s shadow is very integral to every child. No child can survive without the support of parents in the vicissitudes of life, because up to the age of 18 every child needs parents to fulfill all social and religious needs including education, health and food. Let it be said that the basic need of any person to move forward in life is the support of his parents. According to UNICEF, more than 10,000 children around the world lose their parents every day. Currently, there are more than 17 million orphans in the world, out of which 2.5 million children have no father or mother in this world. These figures are recognized and confirmed by various international organizations, the fact is that the number of orphans worldwide is much more than that. According to the United Nations report, the majority of these orphans are in poor African and Asian countries. War, unrest and natural disasters for countries and nations bring the message of destruction, while the lives of innocent children are also put to the test. While the world scenario has changed rapidly during the last 2 decades, wars, natural calamities and needs in different countries have also given rise to such a situation in the form of orphaned children. Millions of people have been deprived of basic necessities including a roof over their heads, education, food. Of course, this is a big threat to the public, considering the situation, in December 2013, on the suggestion of Turkish welfare organization
IHH, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) announced for the first time the 15th of Ramadan as Orphan Day. Alhamdulillah, there are more than a half dozen organizations working for orphans in Pakistan, including Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust (Registered). The distinguishing feature of Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust (Registered) is that the help of the orphan is not limited to any specific area but all the basic needs of the orphans are fulfilled in the same way that parents fulfill the wishes of their children. What does any orphan want to wear, what does he want to eat, in what direction does he want to study, if at all, to arrange his treatment in a hospital with the best and best services, shopping on Eid, in summer. In order to provide a good and fun place, all the comforts and facilities that parents and children can get, Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust (Registered) committed to do so. Muhammad Zaheer Awan (Shaheed) Welfare Trust (Registrar) also feels it necessary to reiterate that if the Orphan Welfare program in this country achieves its goals, then the trust will expand the scope of this project on an international level. According to a report by Dunya News, the number of destitute families in Pakistan has exceeded 4.2 million. The link is below. https://urdu.dunyanews.tv/index.php/ur/Pakistan/650062
